Background
Charlie's former owner temporarily placed him in PACK in 2012, but never came to take him home. However, from the longing in his glowing eyes every time he interacts with people, we can tell that Charlie might once had a happy family life back then. Charlie has always been especially well-behaved ever since he was sent to PACK, even to the point where he seems to have no temper. Perhaps in his mind, he is still waiting for the day when he is perceived “good enough” to be brought home by his previous family.
Personality
Charlie is a stable and relatively low-energy dog. Though he can get quite excited when he sees food or snacks, most of the time, Charlie is laid back and chill. Charlie loves interacting with people and enjoys being pet more than anything else, even when you knead him like a dough! Such a cute boy! Owing to his low sensitivity when interacting with people, he is also perfect for families with elderly and kids.

Behavioral Observations
Charlie is very friendly whether to strangers, elderly or kids. He is highly adaptable to the environment, easy to control and guide, and has a really good temper. Even when he’s nervous, he still obediently follows the guidance of the leash. Charlie is good with other dogs, and will only bark when he meets unfriendly dogs. Charlie is able to focus on the trainer’s instructions, and it’s also rather easy to train Charlie thanks to his passion towards food. Charlie is stable, and able to lie down and rest quietly when he’s alone or your attention is not on him.

All of PACK's dogs are vaccinated annually, dewormed monthly and receive flea and tick medication quarterly. Every dog is spayed/neutered upon arrival at PACK HQ.

At PACK Academy, we socialize our dogs by exposing them to different stimuli and recording their tolerance levels for each one. These observations help us understand the dogs better, which then helps us find suitable homes for them.

Obedience Training
Obedience training is critical for nurturing healthy dog-human relationships and having a well-behaving dog. Our dogs receive basic training at PACK Academy, which provides a foundation for communication between dog and human.
