Background
Wei Wei was brought to PACK Taiwan when he was just a young dog. He spent his early days roaming the streets without a home. Other dogs picked on him so he had to stand up for himself. His rescuer brought him to us so he could live a less stressful life. Now he's looking for a forever home!
Personality
Wei Wei is a confident dog who may look tough on the outside, but he's a softie on the inside. Once you gain his trust, you will also earn his loyalty. He's the kind of dog who will quietly lay by your side while you watch TV or work. His face lights up whenever you say his name or pet him. He loves going outside for walks but he's also happy to lay on his bed for most of the day, pondering the meaning of life. While Wei Wei is still learning how to be a pet after being a stray animal for most of his life, his progress has been impressive.

Behavioral Observations
Wei Wei is a smart dog who is easy to train with food or just affection. Wei Wei has a strong leadership mentality and needs someone who he respects and communicates clearly with him. If he feels like he needs to assume a leadership role, he will begin to act like a bodyguard, always ready to protect his family. This could lead to some unwanted behavior. He has lunged at motorcycles and even people when he feels like they might harm his pack. Wei Wei needs proper introduction with new dogs if they are going to live together (he has lived with 2 other dogs in a foster home before), but he does not like it when new dogs invade his personal space.
Medical History
All of PACK's dogs are vaccinated annually, dewormed monthly and receive flea and tick medication quarterly. Every dog is spayed/neutered upon arrival at PACK HQ.

Wei Wei is a healthy dog with no known health issues. He has some small scars on his muzzle from previous injuries.
Tolerance Levels
At PACK Academy, we socialize our dogs by exposing them to different stimuli and recording their tolerance levels for each one. These observations help us understand the dogs better, which then helps us find suitable homes for them.

Obedience Training
Obedience training is critical for nurturing healthy dog-human relationships and having a well-behaving dog. Our dogs receive basic training at PACK Academy, which provides a foundation for communication between dog and human.
